Balloon garlands

Custom balloon garlands in Tampa

Every garland I build is put together at your venue, so it fits your actual wall, table or staircase. You pick the colors. I handle the balloons, the setup and the teardown.

What an organic garland is (vs. a classic or spiral garland)

An organic balloon garland mixes balloon sizes, from small 5-inch fillers up to big 18-inch ones, in loose clusters so it looks full and a little wild, like it grew there. A classic garland is the older, uniform style: same-size balloons in a neat spiral or pattern. Most people asking about garlands now want organic, so that’s what my packages are built around. If you want the classic look, ask and I’ll quote it.

Where garlands work

  • Dessert or gift table. The most popular spot. A garland over the top corner frames the table in photos.
  • Entryway or doorway. Guests walk through it, and it tells them they’re in the right place.
  • Staircase. A garland along a banister looks great in a home with an open stairway.
  • Photo wall. A garland across a wall or backdrop gives everyone a spot to take pictures.
  • Ceiling swag. Draped overhead for bigger rooms. Needs a venue that allows ceiling hooks.

Sizes and what fits your space

  • About 8 ft (Half Garland): a dessert table, gift table or one side of a doorway.
  • About 14 ft (Full Garland): a main photo wall, a long table, or around an arch or backdrop stand.
  • Custom: longer runs, staircases and multiple pieces, at $25 per foot.

Not sure? Send me a photo of the space and I’ll tell you what size makes sense.

Colors, chrome, and add-ons

Send me a palette, an invitation or a Pinterest photo and I’ll match it as closely as balloon colors allow. Chrome and metallic balloons add shine. Add-ons like foil numbers and letters, faux greenery or a custom vinyl message are listed on the Packages page.

Indoors vs. outdoors in Florida heat

Indoors, an organic balloon garland usually looks good for 3 to 5 days. Outdoors is a different story. Florida sun and heat are hard on latex, and dark colors can pop in direct sun. For outdoor parties I’ll suggest a shaded spot, a later setup time, and lighter colors. A covered patio or pavilion makes a big difference.

Pricing

An installed Half Garland starts at $225 and a Full Garland starts at $375. Grab & Go garlands you hang yourself start at $125. If you’re wondering how much a balloon garland costs in Tampa overall, most local balloon artists price garland installation somewhere around $18 to $35 a foot.

Balloon garland questions

How much does a balloon garland cost?

My installed packages start at $225 for about 8 feet, and a Full Garland of about 14 feet starts at $375. Both include design, balloons, setup and teardown. Grab & Go garlands you hang yourself start at $125. Full details are on the Packages page.

Can the garland go outside?

It can, but Florida sun and heat are hard on latex. Outdoors I’ll suggest shade, a later setup time, and weights for wind. Indoors, a garland usually looks good for 3 to 5 days.

Can you match my colors?

Yes. Send me a palette, an invitation, or an inspiration photo and I’ll build around it.

Do you set up and take it down?

Yes. I build the garland at your venue, usually arriving 1 to 2 hours before your event, and come back afterward to take it all down and haul it away.

How big should my garland be?

Measure the wall or table it’s going on. A dessert table usually needs about 8 feet. A main photo wall or a garland on a backdrop stand is usually 12 to 14 feet. Send me a photo and the measurements and I’ll recommend a size.

Have a date in mind?

Fall Saturdays and holiday weekends go first. Send me your date and I’ll let you know if it’s open.
