Booking terms
Plain and simple, so there are no surprises.
Deposit
A $100 deposit holds your date and is applied to your total. It isn’t refundable if you cancel, because I turn down other bookings once your date is held. If I’m unable to take your date when I confirm it, I’ll refund the $100 in full.
Balance
The rest is due 3 days before your event, paid at secure checkout or by the link I send you.
Rescheduling
If you let me know at least 7 days before your event, I’ll move your deposit to a new date within 6 months, as long as I’m free. One reschedule per booking.
Cancellations
If you cancel, the deposit isn’t refunded. If you cancel within 3 days of your event after the balance is paid, the balance isn’t refundable either, since balloons are usually bought and prepped by then.
Travel
Included within 15 miles of my Tampa base, $40 from 16 to 30 miles, $75 from 31 to 45 miles, and quoted beyond that.
Setup and teardown
I arrive 1 to 2 hours before your start time. Please make sure the space is open and clear. Teardown is scheduled for the end of your event or when the venue needs the room. Teardown after 10 PM is $50 extra.
Outdoor events and weather
Balloons are latex and air, and Florida sun, heat, wind and rain shorten their life fast. I’ll recommend shade, timing and colors for outdoor events, but I can’t guarantee outdoor balloons against the weather. If weather moves your event indoors at the same venue, I’ll set up in the new spot at no extra charge.
Venue rules
Some venues limit balloons, helium, wall hooks or setup times. Please check with your venue before booking and pass along any rules or load-in times. If a venue won’t allow the install, we’ll work out a different setup or move your deposit to another date.
Balloon safety
Popped balloons are a choking hazard for children under 8 and for pets. Pick up any pieces right away. Balloons are latex; tell me about latex allergies before your event.
Balloon releases
I never release balloons. Everything comes down at teardown and is disposed of responsibly.
Photos
I may photograph the setup for my portfolio. I’ll only show people in photos with your permission.
