Getting there and timing
I come over the Howard Frankland or the Gandy, and bridge traffic can be unpredictable, so I leave extra buffer before every St. Pete event. Wind off the water means weighted frames or indoor-anchored installs, and setups facing the sun go up closer to start time. St. Pete usually falls in the $40 travel tier, and St. Pete Beach may be in the $75 tier.
Planning tips for a St. Pete party
Rooftops and waterfront decks are beautiful and windy. If you have a choice, put the balloons near a wall or under cover instead of at the railing. Gallery and brewery spaces in the Warehouse Arts District usually have exposed walls and set event hours, so ask about load-in and whether hooks are allowed. In Old Northeast and Kenwood, garlands on front porches look great for showers and birthdays, as long as the porch is covered.

St. Pete questions
Will a garland hold up outside near the water?
For the length of a party, yes, with the right setup. I weight the frame, keep it out of the strongest wind if I can, and set up closer to start time if it’s in full sun. Wind and heat shorten how long balloons last outside, so I’d plan on it looking great for the event, not for days after.
Do you charge to come over the bridge?
Travel is based on distance from my Tampa base, not the bridge itself. Most of St. Pete is in the $40 tier, and you’ll see it on your quote before you pay.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based in Tampa and set up across Tampa Bay, including Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, St. Pete and Clearwater. Within 15 miles there’s no travel fee; beyond that it’s $40 up to 30 miles and $75 up to 45 miles.
